The drill is not available for rent from November, 15 to March, 15 due to winter storage To transport the drill you will need at a minimum 1) a 3/4 ton pick up or larger 2) a 3/4" PIN HITCH 3) a safety chain for the hitch To operate the drill one in the field you will need at a minimum 50hp Tractor with hydraulic hooks ups COST TO RENT $10 per acre / 10 acre minimum $100 payable at the time of pick up |
RENTAL RULES:
Monroe County Soil & Water Conservation District's 2024 8ft Truax No-till drill is rented on a first come, first served basis with priority going to Monroe County landowners first. The MCSWCD Board does allow rental of the drill to landowners in adjacent counties to Monroe within a 25 mile radius of the drill pickup location. MCSWCD staff or board will evaluate distance on a case-by-case bases. REQUEST FOR USE:
