SSCIPS: The Small & Simple Grant to Control Invasive Plant Species
Mc-IRIS is partnering with Housing and Neighborhood Development to provide a new unique grant opportunity!
This is a pilot program that will allow for HAND grant monies to be used to fund improvements on private property with the explicit purpose of supporting initiatives to remove invasive species and replace them with native plants. This includes, but is not limited to, the purchase of tools and supplies or rental of equipment to help remove invasive species, as well as the purchase of native plants to plant in areas where invasive species have been removed.
