We need you! Work with us to promote conservation programs at the local, state, and national level. Help us support urban and agricultural best management practices (BMPs), field days, fundraising, youth and adult education events, and surveying. Contact us for more information.
Serve as a Supervisor:
Attend monthly board meetings and provide input to the SWCD board on local soil and water conservation issues and programs.
The SWCD greatly appreciates any personal donations! Please provide donations in the following manner:
- Personally deliver or mail a signed tax-deductible check to the Monroe County Soil & Water Conservation District.
- Ask your local grain elevator to designate the first 200 bushels of your delivery property of the Monroe County SWCD and assign the check directly to MCSWCD (this may be the most tax efficient option).
- We accept year-round donations of products and/or services from local retailers and businesses to be distributed at various events. Give us a call or stop by the office to find out what “prizes” may be accepted as a tax-deductible donation.
